Frogging is the most painful thing to do. This pile of yarn represents hours of knitting a winter poncho that never was. It was a very hard lesson to learn; when substituting yarns, you need to measure both length and width (stitches and rows). I neglected to calculate the rows. Very sad. It ended up too skinny and the neckline really looked OFF. :-( I'm so disappointed! Ah well. It's not even cold enough here to warrant a winter poncho. Dang it! Posted by Hello

Grace,
What is frogging? I think that I do it if it is rewinding yarn- but please clarify :). Also, where did you get your yarn winder- it is so cute.

danielle, you're too funny!!! frogging is when you screw up royally and you cannot find your way out of the mess you've made so you unravel the entire messed up portion while you weep over the time lost that you can never get back. :-) i knit with ALL that yarn before I found my mistake. it was SO BAD. that's what i was knitting when you were here! so sad. i got my winder at ac moore for 50% off. there was one left...do you want me to see how much it is now?
